The Truth About Halitosis, More Commonly Known As Bad Breath
PART I: THE SCIENCE OF HALITOSIS AND BACTERIA IN YOUR MOUTH Halitosis, also more commonly known as bad breath, is caused by anaerobic producing bacteria which normally live WITHIN the surface of the tongue and in the throat. These bacteria are supposed to be there because they assist with digestion by breaking down proteins found in specific foods, mucous or phlegm, blood, and in diseased or "broken-down" oral tissue. Under certain conditions, these bacteria start to break down proteins at a very high rate. Proteins are made up of amino acids, two of which (Cysteine and Methionine) are dens ...

Headlines Have You In Mind
I've been scouring the business opportunity magazines and Internet sites for terrific headlines. It was my plan to take these headlines and retool them to fit my particular endeavors. But a funny thing happened on the way to the retooling shop. I noticed a recurring theme. One that I didn't like. I call it the "Prey Parting" headline. It reads like this: HOMEWORKERS URGENTLY NEEDED! or it might say: WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE $363.00 NEXT WEEK AND EVERY WEEK? The sub head always says something to the effect: No Selling No Experience Required No Persona ...

Guttmacher Report on Public Policy, The - Embryonic stem cell research--old controversy; New debate.(Issues & Implications)

Stem Cell Research Breakthrough
From Fox:WASHINGTON Harvard scientists announced they've discovered a way to fuse adult skin cells with embryonic stem cells, a promising breakthrough that could lead to the creation of useful stem cells without first having to create and destroy human embryos. The scientists said they were able to show in their early research that the fused cell "was reprogrammed to its embryonic state." Such a breakthrough could have the effect of taming a biting national debate about the ethics of stem-cell research, but not any time soon. I'll bet Sen. Bill Frist wishes that he'd waited a little longer before he tipped his hand, and angered conservatives....
Embryonic stem cell debate moves to the Senate in shadow of veto threat
WASHINGTON -- In defiance of a presidential veto threat, senators who support embryonic stem cell research are pushing for a quick vote on a bill passed by the House that would lift restrictions on such studies.

When Does Man Become God?
Some scientists argue over creation and evolution and they argue did man create god or did god create man. And without that ongoing and predictable out of debate, lets discuss our scientific advancements. When does Man cross the line and become a god? Or a creator or modifier of life to such a degree that he has changed the entire current scenario? Take this interesting development. To make ethanol better, simply modify the corn more. Call it Super Corn after this has been done. And regarding mosquitoes, modify them too, and then you have no malaria http://parthe.net/_cwg0802/0000006c ...

The Great Awakening--Menopause
The Great Awakening--Menopause By: Dr. Loretta Lanphier, ND, CN, HHP
Menopause is a natural transition all women experience, as natural as adolescence. For your grandmother and great-grandmother, life expectancy was shorter. Reaching menopause often meant that their life was nearing an end. But this is no longer true. Today women are living longer—on average, until age 78. How you experience menopause is determined by many factors: attitude, diet, overall health, genetics, and your cultural group. Medical science views menopause as the state of your body after you had completed one f ...

Can We Stop Cancer from Frequency Pollution?
By sending in ELF-Extremely Low Frequencies into an area of known and above average cancer rates in the middle of the night as people sleep, you could boost their immune system and help keep free radicals in their body at bay. The brain works at these frequencies and puts the brain into a theta state of deep thought. Good frequencies for the immune system are 8.5 Hz and 7.89 Hz near the Earth’s own resonance. By allowing the brain time at this level the body and central nervous system can re-align and discharge these free radicals from harming the DNA or causing all sorts of problems. Talk ...
