  • Store Bought Vitamins - Synthetic?

Did you know that most store bought vitamins and minerals are synthetic and are hard on your liver and kidneys? Have you noticed that if you do take store bought vitamins that you switch the brands like switching shampoos?

Think about how a cell works. If someone was suffering from scurvy, all they had to do was eat an orange and the body would immediately recover because the cells recognized that copper is the center of vitamin C and that it has all of it's bioflavinoids surrounding it and just one tiny arm of the copper is vitamin C.

When you buy synthetic vitamin C, you are o ...

Being vegetarian is one of the greatest things in the world. From good health to sufficient energy in your daily life. Eating healthy is one of the easiest ways to ensure both your mood and physical wellbeing remain at their positive peek.

    Uplift Your Mood

If you have an attack of the blues, try drinking some tea made from walnut. Walnuts are plentiful with the mood boosting chemical serotonin. Brew this wonderful little food in hot water (easier for the body to acquire the serotonin) and drink away much of your blues. The recipe is simple, use half a shell walnut for each cup o ...

  • How Fast Will I Lose The Weight I Gained During Pregnancy?

Remember as with any weight loss and exercise program, moderation is the key! How fast you lose weight will depend on a number of factors, including the amount of weight you gained during your pregnancy.

Most women will lose anywhere from 10-14 pounds within the first 2 weeks of delivery. This weight may be attributed primarily to the loss of excess fluid in the body, the baby’s weight, the placenta and amniotic fluid. Some women might lose a little bit less, and others might lose a little bit more.

As the uterus shrinks back down to its normal size and your hormone levels conti ...

    Genetics News:

Derivation of human embryonic stem cells in defined conditions.
Publication Date: 2006 Jan 1 PMID: 16388305Authors: Ludwig, T. E. - Levenstein, M. E. - Jones, J. M. - Berggren, W. T. - Mitchen, E. R. - Frane, J. L. - Crandall, L. J. - Daigh, C. A. - Conard, K. R. - Piekarczyk, M. S. - Llanas, R. A. - Thomson, J. A.Journal: Nat BiotechnolWe have previously reported that high concentrations of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) support feeder-independent growth of human embryonic stem (ES) cells, but those conditions included poorly defined serum and matrix components. Here we report feeder-independent human ES cell culture that includes protein components solely derived from recombinant sources or purified from human material. We describe the derivation of two new human ES cell lines in these defined culture conditions.

Stem Cells Without Destroy Human Embryos!
Harvard scientists say they've discovered a way to fuse adult skin cells with embryonic stem cells, a promising and dramatic breakthrough that could lead to the creation of useful stem cells without first having to create and destroy human embryos.

Early sperm cells develop from human stem cells
COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Scientists said on Monday they have developed from embryonic stem cells in the laboratory early forms of cells that go on to form human sperm and eggs.

Experts discuss use of human stem cells in ape and monkey brains
An expert panel of stem cell scientists, primatologists, philosophers and lawyers has concluded that experiments implanting, or grafting, human stem cells into non-human primate brains could unintentionally shift the moral ground between humans and other primates.

Researchers Grow Stem Cells From Human Skin
Researchers at Wake Forest University School of Medicine have successfully isolated stem cells from human skin, expanded them in the laboratory and coaxed them into becoming fat, muscle and bone cells. The study, one of the first studies to show the ability of a single adult stem cell to become multiple tissue types, is reported today in Stem Cells and Development.

  • Take Control of Your Metabolism:Quick Tips for Increased Muscle Tone, Faster Fat Burning, and Energ

So many people are talking about how slow their metabolism is and why they need to start taking the latest diet supplement scam yet they don’t even understand how the human metabolism works. So before I even go into how to speed yours up, I want to first go over some of the basics.

    What is metabolism?

Although there are many scientific ways for me explain it, and I could make it seem really confusing like most of the so-called experts do, but I won’t. I’m going to give you my extremely simple and easy to understand definition... metabolism is the rate at which your body burns ca ...
