  • Benefits of Green Tea
    Tea and Cancer Prevention
Tea drinking is an ancient tradition dating back 5,000 years in China and India. Long regarded in those cultures as an aid to good health, researchers now are studying tea for possible use in the prevention and treatment of a variety of cancers. Investigators are especially interested in the antioxidants-called catechins-found in tea.

    1. What are antioxidants?

The human body constantly produces unstable molecules called oxidants, also commonly referred to as free radicals. To become stable, oxidants steal electrons from other molecules and, in the p ...

Messing around with a mother’s DNA or the DNA of her baby is one of the things that can lead to a miscarriage and birth defects. DNA tells the baby AND the mother “when to do what”. Need a leg? Then you need some specific event at some specific time. If the part of the DNA that controls legs is either damaged or altered by some environmental chemical, the leg won’t be there. And you can’t add it later. It can only develop at one very specific time.

  • Genes and Work Ethic

If you have good genes, you are blessed. If they are exceptional, you might be successful on that alone.

Add work ethic and you will be successful and remarkable.

On Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, Linda Green retired after 23 years as a dancer in “Jubilee!” the longest-running production of its kind in Las Vegas.

At 51, Green was the oldest continually working showgirl.

A local columnist dubbed her the “Cal Ripkin Jr. of showgirls,” after baseball’s record holder for most consecutive games played.

In certain respects, her achievement is more remarkable.

High blood pressure a greater risk for stroke and heart disease in Asia says new study
A new study on risk factors in cardiovascular disease in Asia has found that blood pressure is more strongly related to coronary heart disease and stroke in Asia, as compared with Western countries such as Australia and New Zealand. A paper from the George Institute for International Health on the outcomes of the study, to be published in the October 2005 issue of the European Journal of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation, notes that high blood pressure is a key risk factor for haemorrhagic stroke, which is relatively more common amongst Asian populations... click link for more info.

  • Magnetic Energy and DNA
Magnetic energy has been in use for reducing pain and for normalizing body functions for hundreds of years. Recently a new technology has emerged that will move the magnetic healing fields in a new direction. This technology is called the Smart Magnet.

The Smart Magnet is an ingenious device, the size of a quarter, which has certain magnetic frequencies programmed into its magnetic pattern. The imprinted frequencies are designed to help a specific area of the body. When these magnets are held close to your skin your DNA picks up this magnetic energy.

The body needs energy to work ...
