Antioxidants and Your Health
Get back to the basics - eat fresh at home and neutralize free radical oxidation, which is rusting away your body, by eating a variety of foods high in antioxidants every day. Why? Antioxidants, as the name implies, help prevent oxidation, may help increase immune function and possibly decrease risk of infection and cancer. A few of the better known antioxidants include carotenoids-- the substance that gives fruits and vegetables their deep rich colors. Apricots, broccoli, pumpkin, cantaloupes, spinach and sweet potatoes, are some good choices in addition to lycopene in tomatoes ...

Environmentalists Say GM Seeds are Bad News
Environmentalists say GM Seeds are bad for the environment, dangerous to the security of the world’s food supply and will cause millions to starve. Yet when one really looks at the debate none of those statements can be made in absolute truth. Why is it bad for the environment? GM crops were said to be bad by some environmentalists, but Monsanto has figured out a way to terminate the seeds, this terminates them from spreading to other strains of DNA, RNA of natural or wild crops. Thus helps the environment. It is a relatively brilliant “Green Technology” We get to have our cake and grow it ...

The Tibetan and Chinese health Secret: If you read one health report a year, this should be it!
It seems as if the health of America is failing. One million Americans will die of circulatory disease this year. Six hundred thousand lives will be cut short by cancer as well. textbender 2005.1 (Default branch)
Textbender is a toolkit for collective authoring based on structures and methods derived from nature. Structures include a genetic code, populations, and a gene pool. A text is encoded with genetic markup and then distributed out to writers to form a population of copies and a gene pool of variations. Writers communicate by recombination - they make contributions to the pool and they draw on the contributions of others. In the course of their interactions they conduct a search through the design space and the text evolves. License: MIT/X Consortium License Changes: A bare-bones, functional system was introduced. It cuts many corners. It is intended as something to work on in the project "lab", which is now open to new developers.

Find a Doctor
Find a Doctor This is usually a simple task. Open up your phone book (Yellow Pages) and look for one in your area; or ask your primary care physician for a referral to see a specialist. Better still, go online – there is an abundance of free directories listing doctors.
How to find a doctor? There’s no magical route to finding the right doctor. If you have a primary care physician just call him or her and make an appointment. If you don’t have a primary care physician, try the route suggested above. Or, if you feel you need specialist care, you can save time and money by goin ...

The Honeybush Miracle.
Perhaps a little eclipsed by the world-wide success of Rooibos, another natural South African health tea, Honeybush; is finally getting the attention it deserves. Honeybush tea ( botanical name: Cyclopia intermedia ) grows along mountain slopes in the Cedarberg and Langkloof area, and has a naturally sweet, almost honey-like taste. Its brewing colour is a pinky red. South Africa produces only 200 tons of Honeybush tea per year. Not much when compared to the annual Rooibos tea crop of around 4000 tons. This lesser known tea has, however, apparently plenty to offer. Just like the ever popu ...

Store Bought Vitamins - Synthetic?
Did you know that most store bought vitamins and minerals are synthetic and are hard on your liver and kidneys? Have you noticed that if you do take store bought vitamins that you switch the brands like switching shampoos? Think about how a cell works. If someone was suffering from scurvy, all they had to do was eat an orange and the body would immediately recover because the cells recognized that copper is the center of vitamin C and that it has all of it's bioflavinoids surrounding it and just one tiny arm of the copper is vitamin C. When you buy synthetic vitamin C, you are o ...
