  • Iraqi Christians in the Gap!
    Iraqi Christians in the Gap!

As we think about this war from an eternal perspective, the all-important
question is "what will the war in Iraq mean for the Gospel of Christ Jesus?"
We believe that this war in Iraq will give an open door for the Gospel. The
Gospel is what will heal and free the spirit of man to worship the true and
living God, Christ Jesus! The Gospel is the "bread of life"—the only answer to
the hunger and hopelessness of mankind. We want to bring the "bread of life" to
the Iraqi people who have suffered for so many years.

    God has been prepari ...

  • What Is Cancer, Anyway?
Cancer is not some foreign invader which has to be cut, burned
or poisoned in hopes that it will die before the patient dies.
No, cancer is simply a temporoary malfunction in your normal
    cell division process.

Each of has about 75 trillion cells in our body. Virtually all
of them replace themselves many times during our lifetimes. How
    many cells? Well, it's 75,000,000,000,000. That's a lot. They
have various life cycles, but in about 7 years, they have all
    been regenerated. Amazing? I'll say!

So, on an average day, about 29 billion cells in your body

  • Prevent Disease By Thinking Differently Than Experts

Did you know that all physicians and medical researchers have been indoctrinated with a flawed model of thinking dating to the 17th century?

These "experts" cling to a Cartesian model of thinking.

Cartesian refers to the philosopher Descartes who declared, "I do not recognize any difference between the machines made by craftsmen and various bodies nature alone composes."

All scientists, whether they were physicists, botanists, or zoologists, soon adopted his concept that the subject of their study was a machine.

Over time, however, every science but one opted out of ...

EVERYONE OUT OF THE POOL, THE DIVA IS ABOUT TO ERUPT! BRITNEY BARFS IN THE FOUR SEASONS POOL

Bikini-clad and preggers, Britney Spears and her Impregnator hubby K-Fed (stars of the UPN show Britney Kevin: Chaotic) were recently spotted lounging at the Ritzy Marina Del Rey gobbling up all the poolside Bar munchies in sight. Mrs. Federline was...

    Everyone out of the pool?

    textbender 2005.1 (Default branch)

Textbender is a toolkit for collective authoring based on structures and methods derived from nature. Structures include a genetic code, populations, and a gene pool. A text is encoded with genetic markup and then distributed out to writers to form a population of copies and a gene pool of variations. Writers communicate by recombination - they make contributions to the pool and they draw on the contributions of others. In the course of their interactions they conduct a search through the design space and the text evolves. License: MIT/X Consortium License Changes: A bare-bones, functional system was introduced. It cuts many corners. It is intended as something to work on in the project "lab", which is now open to new developers.

  • Headlines Have You In Mind

I've been scouring the business opportunity magazines and Internet sites for terrific headlines. It was my plan to take these headlines and retool them to fit my particular endeavors. But a funny thing happened on the way to the retooling shop.

I noticed a recurring theme. One that I didn't like. I call it the "Prey Parting" headline. It reads like this:

    HOMEWORKERS URGENTLY NEEDED!

    or it might say:

WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE $363.00 NEXT WEEK AND EVERY WEEK?

The sub head always says something to the effect:

    No Selling
    No Experience Required
    No Persona ...

  • Which is Harder: To Know the Past or To Predict the Future

Miscellaneous Idea and Concept. Something to think about, not relating to any particular topic, event or person. I would like to begin this quarter review of thoughts on both the past and the future. First it appears to be easier to predict the future than to guesstimate the past. For instance predicting the future seems to be much easier than that of the work of archeologists trying to piece together what happened based on clues and forensics. And to this point I wish to bring to point a few recent works. One is the work done by Stephen Wolfram where he shows how simple programs develop ex ...

  • Anti oxidants – Why Its a Must in Your Diet

While oxygen is the key to human survival, it is also responsible for maximum damage to the human body as ‘free radicals’. Free radicals form when oxygen is metabolized or burned by the body for its functions. Free radicals are also produced through environmental pollution and cigarette smoke

Tens of thousands of them are formed everyday in the body. These free radicals travel through the body causing immense damage to the cell structures and causes chronic disease, anti aging as well as other health problems including DNA mutations leading to cancer.

Thankfully the answer to su ...
