  • Causes of Hair Loss
Hair loss, in both men and women, can be a difficult matter to face. Most of the time, the individuals who are dealing with hair loss focus solely on the prevention/treatment of hair loss rather than the origin, which may aid in the prevention/treatment of hair loss. Although hair loss causes vary from person to person, there are a few main factors that cause hair loss, such as heredity and aging.

In men, the most common causes of hair loss are heredity, hormones and aging. These contribute to the potential for men to lose hair. In women, some common causes of hair loss include poor cir ...

  • HPV - A Virus That Puts Women At Increased Risk For Cervical Cancer
A Simple Lab Test Could Save Your Life

(NC)-Did you know that one of the most common sexually transmitted infections, called Human Papillomavirus (HPV), is also the leading cause of cervical cancer in women? And that HPV is the most common cause of abnormal Pap smears?

Virtually all cases of cervical cancer are preventable if detected in the pre-cancerous stage. "Although the Pap smear has reduced deaths caused by cervical cancer, it does not detect the Human Papillomavirus, the primary cause of essentially all cervical cancer." Says

Dr Alicia Sarabia, Medical Microbiologist for MDS L ...

  • The Technology of Law
One can discern the following relationships between the Law and Technology:

    1. Sometimes technology becomes an inseparable part of the law. In extreme cases, technology itself becomes the law. The use of polygraphs, faxes, telephones, video, audio and computers is an integral part of many laws - etched into them. It is not an artificial co-habitation: the technology is precisely defined in the law and forms a CONDITION within it. In other words: the very spirit and letter of the law is violated (the law is broken) if a certain technology is not employed or not put to correct use. Think ...

Trial of mother accused of killing twins delayed
The trial of a Ponte Vedra Beach woman who is pleading insanity in the 2001 shooting deaths of her 4-year-old twin sons has been delayed because of a disagreement over how evidence is being shared by attorneys in the case.

Twins can also be mirror-image twins. I know of a pair of such twins. They look identical, but then you notice that one parts his hair on the left, one on the right. And they have different personalities, one more typically right-brained, one left-brained.

The Psychology of Aging and Longevity: The Power of Culture Over Genetics
While the scientific view of 'ageing' ignores the strength of the cultural ideas of health in growing older, culture triumphs over genetics in the measure of longevity.

  • Thomas Jefferson and the Chinese Gong

While Richard Nixon’s diplomatic visit to China may have created a minor thaw in Sino-US relations, he was not the first President to try to get in sync with the Chinese. Thomas Jefferson preceded him by close to two centuries.

Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States, happened to be (in contrast to the current US President) an intelligent man, amazing inventor and, as DNA tests have shown, most likely a randy advocate of miscegenation. We now may envision that when the Continental Congress celebrated Thanksgiving together, which type of meat – light or dark - Jeffer ...

  • Self-Esteem

It begins with you, and your attitude. There are a lot of misconceptions about what type of guys women date. Most guys start thinking, oh they only date the rich guys with thick wallets, or those supermodel guys who look super hot. First off, if you're looking to find a date, you need to stop comparing yourself to other guys. This show isn't about those guys with Porsches and Ferrari's, it's about you.

Believing that you can get a date will help you become more confident. If everyday, you think of yourself as a loser, then honestly, you will remain a loser. Actions have to come from y ...
