  • Get identified under your skin!
There are movies that entertain you, frighten you, and enlighten you. There are movies that trigger your brain of a possible invention that might take shape. This happens every time you watch a Science-fiction movie you wonder, THIS is something that can be explored! There have been movies in the past that have shown the possibilities of planting a gadget inside a human to track his/her daily activities. If that idea has already triggered you of a possible invention, and you are on the edge of dismissing that as a distant dream, think again! You could be just on your way to getting yourself id ...

  • What Is Cancer, Anyway?
Cancer is not some foreign invader which has to be cut, burned
or poisoned in hopes that it will die before the patient dies.
No, cancer is simply a temporoary malfunction in your normal
    cell division process.

Each of has about 75 trillion cells in our body. Virtually all
of them replace themselves many times during our lifetimes. How
    many cells? Well, it's 75,000,000,000,000. That's a lot. They
have various life cycles, but in about 7 years, they have all
    been regenerated. Amazing? I'll say!

So, on an average day, about 29 billion cells in your body

    Genetics News:

Genetic testing still smart choice, despite uncertainties
Preimplantation genetic diagnosis has been used for more than a decade to screen embryos for hereditary diseases such as Down syndrome and other abnormalities. To do this, one cell from an eight-cell embryo is extracted and examined for chromosomal defects. However, as many as half these embryos spawn cells with different genetic information as they divide, giving doctors an inaccurate idea of how the embryo will continue to develop.

Being vegetarian is one of the greatest things in the world. From good health to sufficient energy in your daily life. Eating healthy is one of the easiest ways to ensure both your mood and physical wellbeing remain at their positive peek.

    Uplift Your Mood

If you have an attack of the blues, try drinking some tea made from walnut. Walnuts are plentiful with the mood boosting chemical serotonin. Brew this wonderful little food in hot water (easier for the body to acquire the serotonin) and drink away much of your blues. The recipe is simple, use half a shell walnut for each cup o ...

  • DNA, Fiction and Society; How it Affects Thought

A book called the Seven Daughters of Eve by Richard Sykes is worthy of a read and talks about what we have learned about the flow of human beings populations through DNA research. Thus it is safe to say that certain members of our species have developed differently and in different ways, meaning the brain also learns differently. As Scientists look at different human brains while doing various tasks and watch which areas light up with energy as it works through these different thoughts and tasks we are finding just how unique and different each mind really is.

Yet as we learn more abo ...

  • Antioxidants and Your Health

Get back to the basics - eat fresh at home and neutralize free radical oxidation, which is rusting away your body, by eating a variety of foods high in antioxidants every day.

Why? Antioxidants, as the name implies, help prevent oxidation, may help increase immune function and possibly decrease risk of infection and cancer.

A few of the better known antioxidants include carotenoids-- the substance that gives fruits and vegetables their deep rich colors. Apricots, broccoli, pumpkin, cantaloupes, spinach and sweet potatoes, are some good choices in addition to lycopene in tomatoes ...
