  • The Secret Spies Of The Future, The CIA In 2025, Sure They Look The Same?

The CIA robotic spies will look like you and I, talk, walk, eat, act and even make mistakes like us. But these will not be living, breathing organic humans. The Labs around the country are working on them now, by 2025 they will be everywhere. It is time to a have a serious discussion on artificial intelligence and the future of clandestine spies using artificial intelligence robotics.

Isaac Asimov had artificial organic robots in his books. We all saw the movie AI. Will we be fooled in the future by robots posing as people? Will we care? This might be a great opportunity for spying? C ...

  • Youth In A Changing World

    Introduction

Children are the gifts of God to parents. That young child will in no time at all grow up to become a resposible future leader if he is well catered for. Therefore whatever they learn or grow up with is what they will act upon in their future.

Juvenile Deliquency is nothing but indiscipline among youth. An untrained child of today will destroy the future of himself and that of others. Remember Crowley in New york, the USA, Aninih and Shina Rambo, notorious armed robbers in Nigeria, they are today the world enemies. What shall we say of you and your children in futur ...

  • Aggressive Behaviour Seems To Be Triggered By Early Age Diet

The fact that diet directly affects behaviour is no news, on the contrary, this reality has been perceived a very long time ago, as the old saying "a man is what he eats" proves.

Studies have been performed to ascertain the degree in which this happens. A study of the scientists and researchers from the University of Southern California shows that a lack vitamin B, zinc, iron from the diet during the first years of life seems to influence behaviour later on.

Malnutrition in early ages, shows the study, predisposes to neurocognitive defi ...

    Genetics News:

GENETIC POLYMORPHISMS IN XENOBIOTIC METABOLISM AS SUSCEPTIBILITY FACTORS FOR PARKINSON'S DISEASE (R827017)

Parkinson's disease (PD) is suggested to be caused by exposure to exogenous and endogenous neurotoxicants in genetically susceptible individuals. Based on our preliminary findings in North Americans of European descent, we hypothesize that genetic defects of the enzymes cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) and glutathione S-transferase (GST) are important genetic susceptibility factors in PD. The primary objective of this study is to further investigate genetic defects of these enzymes that may increase the susceptibility to PD in a second ethnic group. To do this, we will take advantage of blood samples already performed in 15 Chinese research centers.

Genetic diagnosis using multiple sequence variant analysis

The present invention is in the field of nucleic acid-based genetic analysis. More particularly, it discloses novel insights into the overall structure of genetic variation in all living species. The structure can be revealed with the use of any data set of genetic variants from a particular locus. The invention...

Drift: Sound Art + Experimental Music - Call For Participation

New Media Scotland calls for participation for Drift - an exploration of sound art and experimental music which comprises live events, radio broadcasts, moving image and publications. The accessibility of the Internet together with new tools and methods for digital recording, manipulation, reproduction and distribution have changed forever the way that we think about and interact with sound, giving us new ways to communicate our ideas. An increasing number of artists, producers, DJ's and sonic creators, from a broad spectrum of disciplines and varying modes of practice, are exploring streaming media as a viable format. We want to open up this channel further. We are offering four opportunities to take part in Drift, details follow. Further information, guidelines and application forms available from the Drift web site: http://www.mediascot.org/drift

    New music: Drift Dhikr Interactive

My friend Art Hunkins has just released Drift Dhikr Interactive. Art has created a set of 12 variants of a live performance arrangement of my piece Drift Dhikr. All variants require a version of Csound with realtime capability, and some require a MIDI controller. The performance notes contain all the details.

  • Asphalt Paving Driveway Maintenance Tips

Asphalt paving or Hot Mix Asphalt is typically what one thinks of when installing driveways of new homes. It is by far one of the least expensive methods for paving a surface in new home construction sites. Properly installed asphalt paved driveways have a life expectancy of about thirty or more years.

These asphalt paved driveways consist of rock particles, sand, and asphalt cement, which make it flexible and durable at the same time. New asphalt is by far the most flexible because it still retains many of the lighter hydrocarbon oils that make up its DNA structure. Crushed gravel ma ...

  • 5 Fitness Myths That Are Responsible For Thousands of Fitness Failures

Unfortunately, many people are misinformed and are also misled by the many promises of the weight loss industry. Everywhere you look, you see or hear of people promising “Dramatic Weight Loss” with products such as “The Fat Trapper”, or “Exercise in a Bottle”.

Then you also have the hundreds of diets out there such as “The Zone”, “Sugar Busters” or “The Atkins Diet”. I’m sure you have heard of many of these yourself. You might have even tried some of them. Unfortunately, these products and diets are not the quick fix, or the miracles they are portrayed as. They are also usually very d ...

  • Magnetic Energy and DNA
Magnetic energy has been in use for reducing pain and for normalizing body functions for hundreds of years. Recently a new technology has emerged that will move the magnetic healing fields in a new direction. This technology is called the Smart Magnet.

The Smart Magnet is an ingenious device, the size of a quarter, which has certain magnetic frequencies programmed into its magnetic pattern. The imprinted frequencies are designed to help a specific area of the body. When these magnets are held close to your skin your DNA picks up this magnetic energy.

The body needs energy to work ...
