  • A Call for International Marriage Laws

I recently watched a CNN programme which centred on “kidnapped daughters” (from multicultural marriages) who were unwillingly given away in marriages in Islamic states by their fathers. Usually, the fathers were from these Islamic states. While pondering over why some states still refuse women their rights to choose whom to marry, the key question I am also trying to answer is “Which international law governs inter-country and inter-religious marriages?”

The real issue is whose belief overrides in an inter-country and inter-religious marriage. Should the father dictate the beliefs of ...

  • The DNA of Motivation

It really is about motivation. After all, what impels someone to climb a mountain, or go to college, or save for a car, or learn a new language or anything of a thousand things? What is it that moves someone to action from a position of comfortable stasis? The answer is motivation. Motivation is the process of stimulating you to action. It takes a need, desire or some other impulse and incites a response. Motivation is the high-octane fuel of success and, as such, it’s vital that individuals and teams capitalize on its power.

Often motivation seems to occur spontaneously -- ...

  • Science and Religion (Part 1)
Could life have evolved by accident? Are we alone in the universe? These are the questions which have pounded the consciousness of individuals. Plus this no less persistent question: what is the purpose of life? Dinosaurs have come and gone. Modern man—Homo sapiens—has landed on the moon. Satellites map our solar system. New planets are being discovered on a regular basis. New theories proposed. Old ones discredited. Genetics, a new field of study—though not so new—ready to re-invent this singular species: mankind. Men of science and of faith are no further apart as a test tube from a pulpit. ...

    Genetics News:

    International adoptees and behavior problems

A recent article in the Journal of the American Medical Association reports that internationally adopted children are less likely to have behavior problems than children adopted domestically, and are generally well-adjusted. That's good news for adoptive parents who may have...

American Medical Association Recommends Warning Tattoos for Children

August 24, 2031CHICAGO--The most recent edition of the American Medical Association's Guide to Pediatric Health published Wednesday recommends that all children under the age of eight receive a series of reactive, low half-life tattoos containing essential preventative health information. "These guidelines aren't just about delivering vital health information," explains Dr. Raymond Tritness, co-author of the recommendation and Director of the Insurance Industry Association's medical malpractice working group. "They're about using information to intervene proactively at the moment a child might engage in risky or unhealthful behavior."

  • Womens Plus Size Expansion
There is some fantastic news that all you plus size women should know. Evidence is showing that more and more companies, clothing stores and merchandisers are opening their eyes, to accommodate larger sizes.

Within the past, the Gap is one of the industry leaders and has extended their sizes, currently only available online at www.gap.com, to include XXL and sizes up to 20. Although this only covers a few sizes in the plus size range, it is a start and it is coming from a clothing store everyone is familiar with.

Now it is becoming a reality that women with plus size needs can ...

  • Is Your Domain Name On Someone's Wanted List?

A good domain name is, and will always be, essential for any online business. If you ask me, the internet is still only just evolving from infancy. It's a long way to maturity.

Still the world has come a long way since Ken Olson, president & founder of Digital Equipment Corp. etched his name in history, when he proclaimed less than 30 years ago, "There's no reason why anyone would want a computer in their home."

How technology has changed our lives within a span of a single generation. Sooner rather than later, more and more businesses will want to go online and cater to a globa ...

  • Bio-Rhythm Disruption Frequency Identifier for Human Intentions

It appears we have found many identifiers for Bio-Metrics to identify people. In this new age of International Terrorism with bad guys trying to get Pilot’s Licenses, HazMat Driver’s Licenses, get onto airlines, step onto buses and sneak over our borders we need a fool proof system. Currently we use fingerprints to identify criminals and those who hold important positions. Some of the newest forms of security include retina scans, voice prints, palms, DNA, Implanted RFID Chips, etc. We have devices, which can see thru trucks, pick up the scent of bio-weapons that use heat to pick-up illegal ...
