Find a Doctor
Find a Doctor This is usually a simple task. Open up your phone book (Yellow Pages) and look for one in your area; or ask your primary care physician for a referral to see a specialist. Better still, go online – there is an abundance of free directories listing doctors.
How to find a doctor? There’s no magical route to finding the right doctor. If you have a primary care physician just call him or her and make an appointment. If you don’t have a primary care physician, try the route suggested above. Or, if you feel you need specialist care, you can save time and money by goin ...

Serious Skincare
Serious skin care vs. winter weather, cleansers, and stress. Serious skin care fights the moisture stolen from skin. Hidden Genetic Engineering
New Zealand genetic engineer Tony Conner claims to have developed a new genetic engineering technique which by using vectors based on the DNA of the target crop does not involve the transfer of foreign DNA (such as the widely used Cauliflower Mosaic Virus). Conner claims that plants produced using this technique "are, by definition, not transgenic", despite the fact that they have been genetically engineered. He says this would, in the case of some countries, move them outside the regulations intended to control the release of GM plants and that "this means the compliance costs involved in gaining approval for commercial use are minimised." he also says it would make them hard to detect as GM plants.

Twins - Double The Trouble Or Double The Pleasure? Both!
If You're Having Twins..is it double the headache, or double the joy? Probably both! What Causes Twins? The number of twins is on the increase, probably because of IVF treatment where more than one fertilised egg is placed in the womb. Of the non-IVF twins, there are two causes: - Two eggs are released during ovulation and both are fertilised by separate sperm - it is possible twins can be fathered by two different Dads! In this case the twins are not identical (even if they have the same Dad!). Non-identical twins are also known as fraternal, they s ...

Protein - The Denominator Customary to All Diets
The Human Body is in a constant flux with the environment. Matter and molecules flow in and out, casting themselves into its complexities. Although the body lends them structure, it is the intake—the diet—that decides its physique. To control what goes in a diet is to choose what stays inside. Dietary decisions reflect an awareness of metabolism and the nutrients needed to modify it. There may be a host of diets purported for each activity and illness. However, the one macronutrient that is invariably required, in substantial amounts irrespective of the physiological state, is protein. < ...

Medical Miracle or Mistake?
Medical Miracle or Mistake? by Lady Camelot
Fundamental elements of life and the aspects of cloning bring dramatic advancement to the scientific and medical community; however, is this fast-paced artificial reproduction an intrusion of Nature or a doorway to infinite, medical cures?
In lieu of scientific developments in the biological mainstream, the human intervention of life and it's natural state are of utmost concern. Questions are being raised as to what constitutes life produced naturally into this world as opposed to man-made biocreationism. Current events depict a dan ...
