Remote Control Bacteria; We Can Not Allow That.
Remote Control Bacteria. Why not, we have remote control everything. Controlling RNA, DNA, Proteins and enzymes. By turning on and off the Riboswitches: http://www.the-scientist.com/yr2004/may/re...ch1_040524.html Scientists are learning ways to turn off and on Bacteria too by switching proteins on and off. Well this is incredible and brings us closer to the idea of Matrix II, where human beings are and all species are living a computer program. Kind of Science Fictionish. It is such a great period to be alive and rivals the Renaissance and or Roman and Greek periods. We are fin ...

Can We Stop Cancer from Frequency Pollution?
By sending in ELF-Extremely Low Frequencies into an area of known and above average cancer rates in the middle of the night as people sleep, you could boost their immune system and help keep free radicals in their body at bay. The brain works at these frequencies and puts the brain into a theta state of deep thought. Good frequencies for the immune system are 8.5 Hz and 7.89 Hz near the Earth’s own resonance. By allowing the brain time at this level the body and central nervous system can re-align and discharge these free radicals from harming the DNA or causing all sorts of problems. Talk ...

Pope Urges Boycott of Italian Referendum to Loosen Restrictions on Embryonic Stem Cell Research, Fertility Treatment
Pope Benedict XVI on Monday endorsed a call by Italian bishops for voters to boycott next month's referendum that could repeal some aspects of a 2004 law that banned embryonic stem cell research and restricted access to assisted reproductive technology, the... click link for more info.
Development of Gametes from Embryonic Stem Cells
Researchers at Cornell reported the ability to generate new pluripotent stem cell lines from embryos which began not as a union of sperm and egg, but rather of an egg and an embryonic stem cell. The investigators found that the stem cells placed in the ooplasm of the egg underwent haploidization (lost half of their chromosomes) and acted as the male germ cell... click link for more info.

Derivation of human embryonic stem cells in defined conditions.
Publication Date: 2006 Jan 1 PMID: 16388305Authors: Ludwig, T. E. - Levenstein, M. E. - Jones, J. M. - Berggren, W. T. - Mitchen, E. R. - Frane, J. L. - Crandall, L. J. - Daigh, C. A. - Conard, K. R. - Piekarczyk, M. S. - Llanas, R. A. - Thomson, J. A.Journal: Nat BiotechnolWe have previously reported that high concentrations of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) support feeder-independent growth of human embryonic stem (ES) cells, but those conditions included poorly defined serum and matrix components. Here we report feeder-independent human ES cell culture that includes protein components solely derived from recombinant sources or purified from human material. We describe the derivation of two new human ES cell lines in these defined culture conditions.
American Academy of Neurology supports embryonic stem-cell research bill
The American Academy of Neurology delivered its position statement on embryonic stem-cell research to all members of the U.S. Senate today to demonstrate its support for the Stem Cell Research Enhancement Act of 2005 (S.471), which passed the House earlier this year. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN) has said the Senate will likely take action on the legislation in mid-July.

A Look at Microdermabrasion Machines
Microdermabrasion systems are safe for most all skin types. Microdermabrasion systems actually evolved from a process known as dermabrasion. Though effective, especially for serious dermis scarring, dermabrasion is harsh, requiring a metallic re-surfacing tool, anesthesia, and long recovery times. Microdermabrasion systems, however, gently smooth signs of aging, sun damage, and scarring with micro-crystal creams. The beauty of micro-crystal creams is how powerfully they polish the skin, but remains gentle and forgiving.
A special cleansing device circulates a cream, infused with tiny e ...

The Honeybush Miracle
Perhaps a little eclipsed by the world-wide success of Rooibos, another natural South African health tea, Honeybush; is finally getting the attention it deserves. Honeybush tea ( botanical name: Cyclopia intermedia ) grows along mountain slopes in the Cedarberg and Langkloof area, and has a naturally sweet, almost honey-like taste. Its brewing colour is a pinky red. South Africa produces only 200 tons of Honeybush tea per year. Not much when compared to the annual Rooibos tea crop of around 4000 tons. This lesser known tea has, however, apparently plenty to offer. Just like the ...

Medical Miracle or Mistake?
Medical Miracle or Mistake? by Lady Camelot
Fundamental elements of life and the aspects of cloning bring dramatic advancement to the scientific and medical community; however, is this fast-paced artificial reproduction an intrusion of Nature or a doorway to infinite, medical cures?
In lieu of scientific developments in the biological mainstream, the human intervention of life and it's natural state are of utmost concern. Questions are being raised as to what constitutes life produced naturally into this world as opposed to man-made biocreationism. Current events depict a dan ...
