When Does Man Become God?
Some scientists argue over creation and evolution and they argue did man create god or did god create man. And without that ongoing and predictable out of debate, lets discuss our scientific advancements. When does Man cross the line and become a god? Or a creator or modifier of life to such a degree that he has changed the entire current scenario? Take this interesting development. To make ethanol better, simply modify the corn more. Call it Super Corn after this has been done. And regarding mosquitoes, modify them too, and then you have no malaria http://parthe.net/_cwg0802/0000006c ...

Where Should You Go On The First Date?
One of the most frequently asked questions in the history of dating (with the exception of the caveman who was a firm believer in kidnapping and always took his date to a filthy cave) is where should one go on a first date. For starters, there are several places you shouldn't even think about going on a first date. They are listed below in order of "you'll die alone" rankings. 1) Never go to your parent's house, especially if you still live there, on a first date. Scotland : Dolly?s death
Affected by progressive lung disease, the sheep Dolly, the first animal cloned from an adult mammalian cell, was euthanased six years after her birth. This premature death ?a sheep can live around twelve year? relaunches the debate over the accelerated ageing and health problems (arthritis, chromosomal abnormalities...) of animals conceived through cloning. The post mortem should say whether the disease was related to her clone status.

Obesity, once seen as akin to laziness and overeating, is now understood as a complex disorder having to do with genetics and hormonal as well as lifestyle factors. People seem to have very different energy requirements; some can eat half as much as others and weigh the same.
By some estimates, as many as 20% of Americans are obese with 6-10% classified as morbidly obese (having a body mass index of 40 or greater, or being more than 100 pounds overweight), a health problem with severe consequences that can include hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obstructive sleep apnea, ...

Documenting the Undocumented with RFID Chips or Cards
Here is an idea which came out of one of our recent thinking groups meetings regarding border security, which seems to be appropriate. First we seal off the borders and only allow crossing thru certain border check points. Robots patrol, if they see you they warn you to stop and go back in Spanish, then warn one more time. Then shoot non-lethal shot. If the perpetrator continues to the next zone, they are warned to go back twice and then if they continue they are shot dead. Running persons in reverse direction and back the country can continue without hassle as long as they keep moving out ...
