  • How to Neutralize the Terrorists Within Your Body
How to Neutralize the Terrorists Within Your Body

Did you know that there are free radical biochemical “terrorists” systematically attacking your cells and the DNA of your cells everyday, on an average of 10,000 hits per day?

These internal weapons of mass destruction are abnormal (free radical) oxygen molecules that are destroying your health and accelerating the aging process. 73% of all diseases are caused by these free radical biochemical “terrorists” molecules.

A Free Radical Oxidant molecule is a molecule of oxygen that is MISSING an electron. Because it is so out of ...

  • Sun Safety
The sun is an important part of our lives. Exposure to the sun allows our bodies to produce Vitamin D which is needed to help absorb calcium for strong healthy bones. Generally, we get 50-80% of our sun exposure by the time we reach age 18, therefore, it is important that parents teach children how to stay in the sun safely.

Try to avoid prolonged periods in the sun when its at its highest in the sky. This is the time the sun can do the most damage to your skin. In the United States, that is generally between 10am and 4pm. If you are out during this period, make sure you are protected w ...

    Genetics News:

Human Y chromosome preserves itself better than the chimp Y
By using human and chimpanzee Y chromosomes as a genetic fossil record to examine our past, Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) scientists have seen a surprising difference in the way the male-making chromosomes from the two species cope with the inexorable pressures of evolution.

Y Chromosome May Not Be Doomed
Despite studies showing that the Y chromosome has rapidly lost genes throughout evolution, a new comparison of the chimp and human genomes calls into question the male genetic structure's imminent demise.

Male chromosome has a future after all, study says
The human Y chromosome the DNA chunk that makes a man a man has lost so many genes over evolutionary time that some scientists ...

Genes in male-pattern baldness identified (Reuters)
Reuters - Researchers in Germany have found that variations in a gene related to male sex hormones may be at the root of male-pattern baldness, the most common form of hair loss. The culprit is the androgen receptor gene, and it dwells on the X chromosome, which all men inherit from their mothers.

  • Should We Allow The Genetic Modification of Insects?

Some scientists argue over creation, intelligent design and evolution. Others argue did man create god or did god create man. Let us discuss our scientific advancements. When does Man cross the line and become a god? Or a creator or modifier of life to such a degree that he has changed the entire current scenario? One interesting development has been to make corn better for ethanol, simply modify the corn more. Call it Super Corn, which uses little water to grow, has high yields and can be used to make plastics, fuel and/or feed the world.

Well what if we genetically manipulate mosqui ...

  • New Hope for Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia Sufferers

There are numerous theories with regard to the causes of chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia, many of which may be indeed touching on the truth or at least touching on an aggravator or contributor to these afflictions. Diseases in general have been growing in epidemic proportion over at least the past 20 years, especially in the United States, where our increasingly toxic environment and lifestyles have drifted further and further away from what is natural in the name of progress, technology, and profit. Chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia are no exception, the two often being experienced togethe ...

  • Store Bought Vitamins - Synthetic?

Did you know that most store bought vitamins and minerals are synthetic and are hard on your liver and kidneys? Have you noticed that if you do take store bought vitamins that you switch the brands like switching shampoos?

Think about how a cell works. If someone was suffering from scurvy, all they had to do was eat an orange and the body would immediately recover because the cells recognized that copper is the center of vitamin C and that it has all of it's bioflavinoids surrounding it and just one tiny arm of the copper is vitamin C.

When you buy synthetic vitamin C, you are o ...
